The Driblando project of Santarém immediately caught my eye when I was looking for an internship: with this project, I could combine my passion for sports together with the acquisition of experience in an international project. An opportunity I couldn’t just let pass by. So I pursued this opportunity and got accepted!
Going to Brazil is very exciting for me. I feel like there is so much I can learn from a new culture, especially with this warm and hospitable team around me: from the moment that I got accepted, the hosting AIESEC office has been very helpful to me with all my questions. You can also sense the eagerness of them to show me around, and let me have the experience of my life! I have full confidence in this project, and I think I will learn a lot during my time in Brazil.
It’s still hard to grasp that within two months, I’ll be in Santarém to help the local underprivileged children! I definitely look forward to this project, and I also look forward to be working together with people from all over the world to make this happen!
