Located on the wellspring of the Arapiuns river and 100km distant from its mouth, the access to Aruã Waterfall is made only by river, in around 10 hours from Santarém.

The waterfall is divided in two falls, separated by a small vegetation-covered island. Next to it, its located the Aruã village. In the waterfall, besides swimming, it is possible to practice canoing and walk through the nature watching its beauties.
