Hey y’all, how are you feeling? I hope excellent. So, I’m here to tell you guys a little about how to get
to our city. Located at 2º 24’52” S and 54º 42’36” W our city
has about 300.000 inhabitants and is considered the most important town in west
Pará. Santarém is between the two most important cities of northern Brazil,
Belém and Manaus, which both have international flights from/to North, South
America and Europe. Santarém also is destination of cruise ships departing
mainly from Southern Caribbean or Europe with tourist that come to see the
Amazon beauties.
However, the point here is tell you the ways of transportation you can take to get to Santarém. You can come in 3 kinds of transportation: bus, boat and plane. The city has a harbor with boat lines that serves closer cities in the region; Belém and Manaus. The journey to the two last ones cities least about 2 to 3 days traveling through the Amazonas River.
P.s.: You'll need a hammock to sleep or rent a cabin.

By bus
we have the Viação Ouro e Prata with bus line from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do
Sul to Santarém, Pará. It is about 4 to 5 days riding across 5 states from
south to north Brazil.

There is also an
International Airport (without international flights :/) and it is the best way to arrive here.
Located 15 km away from downtown, it serves the
region and is the entrance gate to the “Tapajós Pearl”. There are flights from
the mainly Brazilian Airlines to/from many destinations in Brazil.
